The Problem
Detecting stress in children with learning difficulties or communication issues can be difficult for a carer. Through a series of sensors, Sensixa's wristband is designed to detect when a child stress levels are rising and signal to the carer to take appropriate action.
For children with communication issues and learning difficulties stress is difficult to judge. With biometric research spun off from Imperial College the goal was to design a wristband that is easy to put on and take off by a carer yet robust, is not easily tampered with and fit a range of children aged 4-14.
